Certifications
Hanksugi commercial truck tyres are certified by government agencies across the Americas, Europe and other regions. Every certification guarantees compliance with local safety, quality and performance standards for commercial vehicle tyres.
Low rolling resistance verified by the EPA for fuel savings of 3-6%. Required by major US carriers for compliance with the SmartWay Transport Partnership.
Hanksugi's own low-emission manufacturing process and compound certification. A reduced carbon footprint throughout the entire service life of the tyre.
Technological Laboratory of Uruguay. Mandatory safety and quality testing for all commercial tyres sold in Uruguay. Guarantees compliance with the load index, the speed rating and durability.
Norma Oficial Mexicana (Official Mexican Standard). Mexico's mandatory safety standard for tyres (NOM-086-SCFI), which governs load capacity, speed rating, tread wear and the labelling of all commercial truck tyres imported into and sold in Mexico.
ECE R54 type approval for commercial vehicle tyres. Mandatory for sale in the 27 EU member states plus the EEA countries. Covers load/speed performance and noise emissions.
Ecuadorian Standardisation Institute. Ecuador's national standards body, which certifies that commercial truck tyres meet the safety and quality requirements of RTE INEN 011 for the Ecuadorian market.
National Institute of Metrology. Brazil's mandatory tyre certification (Portaria INMETRO 544), which tests tread wear, handling, temperature resistance and structural integrity. Mandatory for all tyres sold in Brazil.
EU chemical safety regulation (EC 1907/2006). Guarantees zero restricted substances in tyre compounds. Mandatory in all EU member states.
Independent German testing authority. Verifies structural integrity, high-speed resistance and load capacity under controlled laboratory conditions.
National Institute of Industrial Technology. Argentina's mandatory tyre safety certification (CHAS scheme), which tests dimensional compliance, load resistance and high-speed performance in accordance with Mercosur standards. Mandatory for all tyres sold in Argentina.
