International Truck Tire Certifications — 12+ Countries

Hanksugi commercial truck tires are certified by government agencies across the Americas, Europe, and beyond. Every certification guarantees compliance with local safety, quality, and performance standards for commercial vehicle tires.

SmartWay — US EPA

EPA-verified low rolling resistance for fuel savings of 3-6%. Required by major US shippers for SmartWay Transport Partnership compliance.

Eco Technology

Hanksugi's proprietary low-emission compound and manufacturing process certification. Reduced carbon footprint across the entire tire lifecycle.

LATU — Uruguay

Laboratorio Tecnológico del Uruguay. Mandatory safety and quality testing for all commercial tires sold in Uruguay. Ensures load index, speed rating, and durability compliance.

NOM — Mexico

Norma Oficial Mexicana. Mexico's mandatory tire safety standard (NOM-086-SCFI) governing load capacity, speed rating, tread wear, and labeling for all commercial truck tires imported and sold in Mexico.

E-Mark — European Union

ECE R54 type approval for commercial vehicle tires. Required for sale in all 27 EU member states plus EEA countries. Covers load/speed performance and noise emissions.

INEN — Ecuador

Instituto Ecuatoriano de Normalización. Ecuador's national standards body certifying commercial truck tires meet RTE INEN 011 safety and quality requirements for the Ecuadorian market.

INMETRO — Brazil

Instituto Nacional de Metrologia. Brazil's mandatory tire certification (Portaria INMETRO 544) testing tread wear, traction, temperature resistance, and structural integrity. Required for all tires sold in Brazil.

EU Compliance

EU chemical safety regulation (EC 1907/2006). Ensures zero restricted substances in tire compounds. Mandatory for all EU member states.

TÜV — Germany

Independent German testing authority. Verifies structural integrity, high-speed endurance, and load capacity under controlled lab conditions.

INTI — Argentina

Instituto Nacional de Tecnología Industrial. Argentina's mandatory tire safety certification (CHAS scheme) testing dimensional compliance, load endurance, and high-speed performance per Mercosur standards. Required for all tires sold in Argentina.
