Buyer's Guide Coming SoonExtra-wide super single for fuel-optimized trailer applications. Largest available footprint for maximum load capacity in single-tire configuration.
Buyer's Guide Coming SoonSelecting a tire size is not just about rim diameter. It requires matching load index, speed rating, OEM fitment, duty cycle, and regulatory compliance. Here are the four factors every fleet manager should evaluate before ordering.
Match the tire's load index to your axle group GVWR. A Class 8 tractor at 80,000 lbs GVWR on 18 tires needs a load index of at least 144 on every position.
Every modern Freightliner, Peterbilt, Kenworth, Mack, Volvo, and International spec sheet lists acceptable tire sizes. Deviating voids wheel-end warranty.
California CARB Phase 2 and several other state regulations require SmartWay-verified tires. Hanksugi 295/75R22.5, 11R22.5, 11R24.5, and 285/75R24.5 are all verified.
Purchase price alone is misleading. Factor in fuel economy (SmartWay), retread potential (casing quality), and miles-to-removal to find your real CPM winner.
